Let me hug you sooo tight Ms. 2011 and give thanks to all the laughters, the tears, heartaches, trials. For the new-found friends, for the chances, opportunities, for my job. For my family and friends who never left me. Maraming maraming salamat Panginoon :)

And for you Mr. 2012, surprise me! ;) But my arms are wide open with more happiness, laughters, love, friends. More trials, heartaches that will make me even more fierce, stronger and braver! And I’m so very much open with new chances, opportunities and all ;) Postive energy for the entire year. I’ll be dancing more freely with the universe. And most of all, keeping the FAITH with God :)

FLYING WITH BROKEN WINGS

Above here, I am free.
I can almost see all the things from here,
The figs, the marigolds, the statues of all sizes, that boy crying alone.
I am witnessing almost everything.

Higher, I soar higher.
I have danced with the clouds, flirt with the dunes, hummed with the bees and got laid with the nymphs.
I also toyed the rainbow and the moon and even raced with death.
It is fun! I have all my freedom!

Freedom? Yes I have. Because of my wings.
I got bruised, scratched and damaged because of these
But who should be blamed for my scars?
My wings? Or myself?

I never regretted soaring high. Never!
I have danced, sang, flirt, got laid, fell and soared high once again.
These things I will always be thankful for.
Wandering and musing from afar.

Above here, I am free.
I can almost see all the great works of the Almighty - tempting or holy.
Though my wings are never new, and never will be,
I will still fly with my broken wings.

The girl you just called fat? She is overdosing on diet pills. 

The girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. 

The boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. 

See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for our country. 

That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying.
